Watch the birdie

Taken through glass, from a bird hide, in Trentham Gardens nr. Stoke on Trent Staffordshire UK.
I've been overwhelmed by all your lovely comments and advice to my photos over the last few days! Thank you all VERY much, Mary :)

Amazing shot Mary, its never easy to capture birds in action. :) You really nailed this one. I saw your other pics and all i can say is you have an eye for natural beauty. Fantastic cool shots there.

I was dissapointed with the sharpness, I think it might have been sharper if there was no glass between us, well I hope it would have..lol :D

We had waited in a bird hide for about half an hour, and had shut the window and I was just putting the lens cap on the camera, when this little fella and a friend appeared on the coconut, I thought I had missed it, when his friend flew away, but he kindly posed for me :)
