Hi everyone! just got back yesterday afternoon, had a lovely time, and took lots of pics :) I have a lot of catching up to do now! Thank you to everyone who visited my P-blog while I was away, and for your very kind comments too! I really appreciate them :) I'm starting off with some sunsets, from Whitby North Yorkshire UK
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome :)

ON OUR RECENT TRIP, TO NORWAY AND THE ARCTIC, WE VISITED 7 PLACES AND TRAVELED A TOTAL DISTANCE OF 4233 NAUTICAL MILES 1 nautical mile = 1.15 land miles or 1.852 kilometers.
Very nice work, the breaking waves with he birds make it a very nice composition !

Great foreground - it looks like the birds are on holiday, too, enjoying an evening stroll:). Good to hear you've had a grand time - did you get to see the Abbey?

@red queen: Cheers :) that was the quietest the birds had been all day! We did go to the Abbey, but we drove to it, I have a dodgy knee, so the thought of 199 steps put me off climbing up lol. it's an amazing ruin, but it lacked feeling, not sure why, I really prefer Tintern Abbey, it has very strong vibes, and draws me right in.

Beautiful capture Mary, i love the framing here with the rock on the right and the angle you have shot this from is cool. Its like those birds are trying to tear apart the waves and make their way. :-)

Thank you Mary! Actually, it's my husband's site! Photos and the whole desigh belong to him! He is a web developer, he says he's an amateur photographer, well, i don't consider him as an amateur... Let's say i'm only doing his promo! I like photography a lot also, nevertheless i don't shoot...
