@celialee: They really were, celialee, as we were walking around they had some lovely music to acompany the sealife. ally! from Singapore, Singaporethis is a pretty cool shot! btw, did you do any postprocessing? 21 Jul 2007 6:09am @ally!: Thanks ally, @Evi: Thank you Evi, the lighting of all the sea life here was brilliant, I think they made a good choice with the blue for the jelly fish:) @Nickyj: I so wished I'd have been able to get in to take more, this area was so busy at the time, and tbh I didn't think that this had come out as well as it did, till I uploaded it! @Vanessa: It was beautiful in this part, the colours were wonderful, and they had wonderful music playing, that was perfect. @Myst: thanks Myst, I really could have stayed there all day :) @badala: Thank you badala, the colours in this place along with the music, made it magical :) HorseRotorVator from Newton, United StatesSuper neat shot! The blue is amazing! What cool creatures! :) 21 Jul 2007 10:39am @HorseRotorVator: Thanks HRV :) @Ivera: You may Ivera, I've checked it out and it looks pretty cool :) @Jen: Cheers Jen, it was amazing, even with all the people around at the time it was quite peaceful watching just floating about :) tengtan from Melbourne, AustraliaWell captured indeed without any hint of window reflection and the colour is hypnotic and pattern almost abstract. 21 Jul 2007 1:12pm @tengtan: Thank you tengan, I was very pleased when I got home and put it on the computer, at the time it looked like I'd failed to get a decent capture. Newbie from Karachi, Pakistanthey are awesome !! i loved the blue colors !!! amazing 21 Jul 2007 1:25pm @Newbie: Cheers Nebie :) @Riya: Thanks Riya :) Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaBlue is my favorite color, and this is amazing. Superb capture Mary and equally wonderful processing work on this one. :) 21 Jul 2007 4:27pm @Rahul: Cheers pal :) The blue was from the lights in the aquarium, so I had to do very little with it, just cropped it a little, and then darkend it a tiny bit to take the edge of the bright colour at the top :) it was a very beautiful scene, they had beautiful music playing too, which gave it a great feeling. We had picked a very busy time to visit, so I only took this one of the jellyfish, but there were about 3 large tube aquariums, with different species of jf in them. @priya: They were amazingly graceful creatures :) @Amit: Thank you Amit :) Mike Raffan from Aberdeen, United Kingdomi got stung in the face by a jelly fish, but these look a lot nicer 21 Jul 2007 6:19pm @Mike Raffan: Ouch!!!! :( I bet that wasn't a pleasant experience to say the least Mike. @chacha: Thank you chacha, for your visit and comments :) @colin: thanks Colin, they used a lot of this blue light in this place :) Brendan McInerney from Burlington VT, United Statesthis is a incredibly scary photo, jellyfish seem to have that effect on people. beautiful tones and subject. and to reply to that bench question, it was in the captial building in Nebraska, i was driving through, and it was the only building over 10 floors in the state, thanks for the comment 22 Jul 2007 4:31am @Brendan McInerney: Thank you Brendan, I've only seen them washed up on the beach, so it was nice to see them, safely from behind glass, wouldn't want to meet one in the sea. :) thanks for your answer to my question, it looked a very grand building :) Shutterbug from Chennai, Indiai've got somejust like this... especially this blue one! 22 Jul 2007 9:31am @Shutterbug: I think that the blue light must be used in most places that they have jellyfish displayed :) @Oddiy: Thank you Oddiy :) I agree it was a magical colour. Harald from Frankfurt, GermanyAn awesome picture. I don't want to meet them in wildlife. 22 Jul 2007 3:28pm @Harald: Thank you Harald, I wouldn't like to meet these either, it is safer this way behind glass :) bronzebilly u.k. from cardiff, United Kingdomhey MaryB--superb result and colour on this one--billy 22 Jul 2007 10:36pm @bronzebilly u.k.: Thanks billy, I very much appreciate, your kind comments :) SPunkt from -, GermanyI love Sealife Centres!!! They are so very great because of the atmospheric lights there. Somewhere in my portfolio there must be similar shots to this one, but yours looks more vivid. 3 Aug 2007 8:53am Lost Valley from Kamloops, CanadaI love the deep blue of the jelly fish and the way that the lens has captured the magic of these creatures.
