These two little donkeys, spend their day giving rides to children, on the beach at Scarborough. I don't think that the owner wanted me to take any pics as he had earlier, obscured the shot by standing infront of them, I managed to get this while he wasn't around! Last one from Scarborough :) I've got a busy weekend so I'll be back Monday with some pictures from Castle Howard :)Thank you everyone for your continued words of support and encouragment, I really appreciate them all :)
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome :)
I really appreciate all your comments, thank you so much. I'm only sorry I've not got time to respond. I do read all the comments and will try to answer any questions you have about my posts :)

@badala: Yes, I think your right badala, :) thank you.
I like the colors! white and black donkeys and the red cords.; very nice composition. I like very much the positions of the donkeys. When I was young, I went to the seaside as holidays, and there was donkeys and horses making turns on the beach with someone to hold them. One of the donkeys was a little female, all grey and so sweet.. and she was named like me. It gives me a very good souvenir of my childhood-holidays. thank you for this photo, to remind me all of those things!

@Brittney: Thank you Brittney, they were a very cute couple :)
Lovers ?? Tsk tsk... i always knew you are a hopeless romantic, but shooting even donkey pairs ?? Wow, you leave me miles behind in being a hopeless romantic.
About the shot, its really cute and exposure is perfect. It aint easy to shoot when the subject is mix of black and white pal, and you have got a great shot here. Cheers and have a great weekend. I am off golfing on sunday. ;-)

@Rahul: LOL Rahul, your right it looks like a clandestine meeting on the beach :D I almost captured a brilliant one where they looked like they were kissing LOL, but at the same time someone put their hand on the donkeys head and they stopped! :( Appreciate your very kind comment as always Rahul, hope you have a great game of golf on Sunday :)
Like two friends meeting along the way.

@red queen: Thanks rq, I managed a couple of shots around the grounds of Castle Howard, we couldn't really take shots of the building as it was surrounded by lighting gear, cause they were doing a film shoot, so only took a few of the statues and grounds, even then we were limited, cause of the film crew, actors and trucks! you couldn't take pic's inside either!, but it was a lovely place to visit :)
Cool shot!Is that one`s name "MAT"?:D Nicely framed MaryB.

@Shahab: :D, Mat and Pat, that sounds great :) thanks Shahab.
A nice shot. The contrast between the colors is beautiful. I am looking forward to see your pictures from Castle Howards.

@Harald: Thank you Harald. I wish I could have taken pictures of Castle Howard, but they had a film crew there, and lighting rigged up around the building, so all I managed to get were some statues and flowers from the grounds :) after these the next photographs are from York :)
Its good you managed to sneak back for a shot whilst the owners back was turned. Pat & friend look cute.

@Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard, the owner definatly had a problem with me taking a photo of these two! maybe if I'd had a single use camera he might not have been so techy LOL :D
They look like they are whispering to each other ...... nice capture :)
