Atlas

This is part of a beautiful fountain, with a statue of atlas at it's heart.
No water was running this day because of filming.
I had a go at adding an aged look to this one, as there was a lot of green, from the water, I thought it would soften it a little, without loosing the detail.

@Rahul: Thanks Rahul :) I was a bit worried that I'd made it look too pale, but was having trouble keeping Atlas's face from going too dark! I will keep experimenting :D
I also found out today that we have paint shop pro 7 on our computer, so now. I'm going to have a play with it to see what it and I can do lol :D

@tengtan: Thank you tengtan :) there were so many beautiful things to capture at Castle Howard, some we could not because they were filming, and there were some I just didn't, I was too busy enjoying the day :) also I think that, sometimes my husband gets lonely when I'm always behind a camera! so I spent some quality time with him this day :)

Very good work, must be difficult to find just the right balance for softening the green of the fountain. I am away on a trip to the wilderness of the Gaspé with only spotty access to the net, so I hadn't seen your last photos. All very good!
