Mandy from Johannesburg, South AfricaI love the feeling of this picture.....it's so serene and nostalgic...makes me long for summer walks on the shore (I live 6 hours away from the closest ocean!! :) ). I love that the people are in silhoutte~ adds a big punch for me! Excellent capture MaryB 10 Sep 2007 6:38am @Mandy: Thank you Mandy, the sunset that night was so very beautiful, it made lots of people stop to watch the sun go down, but these were the only people on the beach at the time! ( there were lots of people on the pier) It was extra special since the weather had been awful for weeks and this part of the UK had experinced really bad floods, so in a way it was the calm after the storm! @Manuela Photography: Thank you Manuela, it was a sight to behold that evening :) @Soodabeh: Thank you dear Soodabeh :) it was a magical moment. @Sriram: Thank you Sriram, it was taken off the Pier looking down on to the beach :) Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaI love how you captured that wave...the light adds a very special effect MaryB ;) 10 Sep 2007 8:58am @Lorraine: Thank you Lorraine, I took two of this family and the sea, because the light from the sunset really brought out the waves :) @Dimitrios: Thank you Dimitrios, The sunset this night was truly beautiful!
