Yesterday we went to a Safari Park, and they had the most amazing white Bengal Tigers and white Lions. I thought I would share some of these cuddly kitties with you :)
All the next few days posts, were taken through, the window of the car, which had to be shut while we were in this area of the park.
Thank you everyone, I was overwhelmed by the comments on my Ducky daddles post!
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome :)
I really appreciate all your comments, thank you so much. I'm only sorry I've not got time to respond. I do read all the comments and will try to answer any questions you have about my posts :)

17 Sep 2007 2:30am
@kaddy: Thank you kaddy, yes they are rare which is such a shame, the last white tiger seen in the wild was in 1951! I saw at least two at this park. They also have 12 white tigers :)
You've done a beautiful job Mary. The photo is perfect for a magnificent creature. :)
17 Sep 2007 2:33am

@tyan: Awww! thank you tyan, he was so very cute. :) there are very few Tigers in general in the wild, apparently there are more in captivity :( which is so sad! They are very well looked after here and seem very contented, thank goodness.
Supern shot Mary! Lovely framing and charcteristic expression! great work!
17 Sep 2007 4:08am

17 Sep 2007 4:12am

17 Sep 2007 5:31am
@Ian Bramham: Thank you Ian, :) It was a real pain in the rear, I was sitting in the back of the car, and on the wrong side! my sons girlfriend was where I wanted to be Lol :D but managed to get a few shots, using the front head rest to steady the cam :) some people did open the windows! but were told to close them by the rangers.
Oh gosh, he's beautiful, can I cuddle him?
17 Sep 2007 5:35am
@Lorraine: I wouldn't recomend it Lorraine, he was huge! but georgous, all the same :D There were plenty of rangers on hand in landrovers, but I was still glad he was having a nap :)

Very nice kitty; good framing here MaryB.
17 Sep 2007 6:31am
@Viewfinder: Thank you LV, he has got to be one of the most wonderful animals I've ever seen!
Lovely shot. It does look cute from this far! What I know about white tigers is that they have pink noses, white to cream-coloured fur, and black, grey or chocolate-coloured stripes, grey mottled skin, and ice blue eyes. Am sure wud make them look much cute than their orange cousins :)
17 Sep 2007 6:50am
@Babul Bhatt: thank you Babul, he certainly looked cute, he had the chocolate coloured stripes, but unfortunatly he didn't open his eyes for us, I really would have loved to have seen them, I didn't know they were ice blue, thank you for the info :)
besonders eindrucksvoll...echt toller Schuss!

Fantastic shot thought the window Mary! I remember visiting a lion park years ago in a ute and 3 young lions jumped on the back and started to stare in the windows! I'm VERY glad they were shut :)))
