This leaf has been frozen in time, at least until the ice melts.
Thank you to everyone for yesterdays comments, I wish I had time to answer them all. I read all your kind words, and I really appreciate them :)

Hey Mary - I was looking through the last few days posts - WOW really awesome!!! I loved the "Hollywood Rose" and yesterday's "UFO's" hahaha..Brilliant. Sorry to hear about you being stuck out inthe cold, I hopeyour legs have recovered!!! I love this leaf in the ice btw, at first I thought it was a splash of water over it - really awesome!!!

Wow Mary! At first glance it seems such a beautiful simple shot, until you delve deeper into all those tiny particles of ice. Stunning. Love the colours too. :)

@DaveB: It was the night before last Dave, we woke to a heavy frost, I was really suprised to see ice, my hubby had to scrape the car windows too, this was in a metal dish I keep water in for the birds. it's warmed up a little thank goodness, or the rain that we have today would be snow!

WOW, this is incredible!!! Outstanding in every way, dear Mary! Love the textures, tones and fantastic detail captured here. And the framing is absolutely perfect. Me too!! This would/should be printed 'BIG' (well maybe not too big), and hung in your gallery...It is a very special capture. Creativity is a real thing with you I see.. Do you have your keys?? LOL
