We awoke to a wonderfully sparkling but very cold frosty morning, taken in my front garden, a freshly fallen leaf from our Maple tree lands on a blanket of frosted leaves.
Please forgive me if I didn't manage to comment on you posts yesterday, my computer is for some reason just turning it self off!!!! it gives me around 10 mins max! and as I share it with my son, he has priority atm because of his college work.
A little mini series of my walk on November 15th. more on Monday.
Oh! and don't forget it's Graffiti weekend tomorrow and Sunday!
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome :)
I really appreciate all your comments, thank you so much. I'm only sorry I've not got time to respond. I do read all the comments and will try to answer any questions you have about my posts :)

Magnificent Mary! We have very few frosts since our weather has warmed so much - I'm enjoying your wintery images!

Wow that's a real beauty!
Sorry about your computer issue. A friend of mine had that kind of a problem and it turned out to be an electrical problem with the power supply. It was a loose wire. It would work until the comp got hot and then due to the expansion from the heat the wire would lose it's connection and then when it cooled down it would work again. Kind of a weird thing.

@Laurie: Thank you Laurie :) My sons friend is hopefully coming to have a look at it soon, I'll mention the wiring to him just incase it is something like that.
Great find and capture! Also sorry to hear about your computer problem. I had a similar one; turned out it was the hard drive... which <gulp> did crash, and I lost a lot of stuff that was on it. Ah, we'll hope Laurie is closer to the real problem; loose connections wouldn't be much to worry about.

@Viewfinder: Thanks VF :) Oooo! I hope it's not the hard drive! that has happend to us before, we lost all our holiday pics from a cruise that we took to the Canary Isles and also our holiday to Italy with all the Venice ones! :( I'm looking on the bright side and hopefully it's something simple :)
Wonderful shot Mary, the colours are really cool!

good contrast between the leaf and the background

Absolutely love this one Mary!! The tones, the light, the framing... the whole image.
Sorry about your computer, too. Mine is acting odd as well. Only with mine, a laptop, I can't get the power up unless I boot up on the battery first then I can use the power cord... weird. Have a great weekend!!

@amy: Thanks Amy :) I think computers act strange sometimes, just for the heck of it, this one will work fine for ages then it goes mad! I hope you get yours sorted out, it sounds really awkward to have to go through all that!
Absolutely gorgeous Mary! I love the touch of frost! There are many reasons as suggested above why your computer would turn off. Have you scanned it with good scanning software like Norton for viruses? If that's not it it could be overheating. If its a desktop, not a laptop, get your son to take off a panel or two of the processor casing - using the blowing end of your vaccum (for goodness sake not the sucking end!) and blow out all the dust and dirt. If you have had the computer for any length of time - this should be a routine maintenance - really thick dust can accumulate into wads of it over time and then if the fan can't work properly because of it - it will overheat.

@Anne: Thank you Anne, My son says that today it's been fine no probs! it acts very strange sometimes LOL we have AVG which seems to work well and we scan regulary too. We have a friend who will come to take a look soon, see if he can shed some light on what's up with it.
Wonderful shot. great details.

Brrr, you can feel the creeping cold. However, I love the frosts here, and the fallen leaves always appear so beautiful in their icy surrondings.
