This was taken in a field, in the next lane to where I live, it was so cold you could see the horses breath! and you can see the frost glistening in the field behind the horse. Best view large.
I have to announce this (it's so exciting, well it is to me lol :D ) we have SNOW! after raining all night and up until 4pm it turned to sleet then to snow, which has settled. The downside is that we have all the roof tiles removed from the back of the bungalow! so it's a bit chilly LOL :D
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome :)
I really appreciate all your comments, thank you so much. I'm only sorry I've not got time to respond. I do read all the comments and will try to answer any questions you have about my posts :)

@tyan: Thanks tyan :) The poor horse did look cold, his companion in the field had a coat on and looked much more happy. I think it is ice/frost on the leaves and they are glistening in the sun, everywhere was covered in frost that day :) it was cold but very beautiful. I hope one day that you and yours get to see new snow falling, I find it quite magical :)

@Dimitrios: Lol, Awww! Thank you kind Sir :)
Yes, it's true and inevitable, but if the summer weather would continue we wouldn't be happy either :). The picture is just what it tells, lovely impression, one can feel the chilliness (good English?), I just turned the ch two degrees higher for it's finetuned to absence but I'm at home now, and I have to walk the dog in even greyer weather as you showed, before I go to work. Grey pictures today, see what I can show you.

@Illuci: True Erik, Autumn is my most favourite season, and here it has been wonderful. The colours have been especially lovely, the weather has gone from one extreme to another, so a good mix really. Chilliness is good, and is a perfect word to describe that day :)
Hope your day brightens up, our snow is gone and the sun is trying to come out but it is still cold.
Great atmosphere- very well done.

@FC: Cheers FC :) It is not too often that we get snow here, so it is always something of a novelty for us, I can't imagine what would happen here if we to get the amount of snow that you get, the whole country would stop! LOL :D we are simply not prepared for Snow here!

I love it! super silhouette, great mood in this one! P.S.: 15 days, 20 hours in airplanes, 1500 km in a bus and 2115 photos later I'm back from a terrific trip through Tunisia. Am trying to catch up with all of our regular visitors and their recent postings. If you want to see my photos of the trip, go to http://web.mac.com/wolfgang.prigge1 and click on the word "Tunisie" in the top right corner. From there follow the instructions to see the different albums. It might be a bit long with a slow connection. And no, I did not put all my photos up, I managed to wrestle them down to about 800....
