Great work selecting out the red color of this passing ship. The BW lighthouse and water lends a touch of film noir to the whole thing, like from the start of a WW II spy mystery novel or movie.

Great composition (I like the strong diagonal elements) and the processing is great in the way it highlights the boat. My mother went to school in Whitby - I will have to ask her if she recognizes your pictures.
