Sorry I didn't get to everyone's blogs yesterday, will be catching up with you all today.
This was taken in September 07, when the wasps were helping themselves to my Elderberries. Ooops it's a wee bit bigger than I thought it would be LOL :D
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome :)
I really appreciate all your comments, thank you so much. I'm only sorry I've not got time to respond. I do read all the comments and will try to answer any questions you have about my posts :)

@Cris: Hi Cris, thanks for your visit and your kind comment. To answer your question, thankfully the wasp was more interested in the berries than in me so I was able to get right up close, sometimes though they did get annoyed with me and chase me around the garden but soon got fed up and went back to the berries lol :D
WONDERFUL!! What a view, when going through the pictures of my favorites, here I was simply urged to keep watching, a topper!! (I almost begin to love wasps when I see this - from now on I'll never kill one in my life, thank you MaryB)

You are a brave soul going in that close on the wasp in September (when they seem to get more grumpy I think ??). Anyway, hope it didn't sting you, you got a marvelous close-up.

@Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard, thankfully I didn't get stung but I did get chased around the garden a few times lol :D they were quite docile, thanks to all the elder berries they were consuming.
Wonderful macro Mary!
