ON OUR RECENT TRIP, TO NORWAY AND THE ARCTIC, WE VISITED 7 PLACES AND TRAVELED A TOTAL DISTANCE OF 4233 NAUTICAL MILES 1 nautical mile = 1.15 land miles or 1.852 kilometers.
I really think the reflection of you in this critters eye is neat , but I have atleast one mouse in my house at this moment and this reminds me of a mouse too much with it's coloring so it's giving me the heebee geebee's , no offense !
you would think my cat would catch the damn thing , he has been stalkin the kitchen area were we believe it to be but the dag on thing won't go on the stupid glue traps and is not bothering with the mouse traps either !! uuuuugh !
hey idiot ( talking to myself now ) I don't think mary wants to hear your life story about stuart little ....lol

@Man With 101 Names: Oooops! Have you thought of using peanut butter to trap the little blighter, they seem to love it. Well the one that got in our kitchen did, he walked straight into the humane trap, it snaped shut and in the morning I was able to release him into the garden. Job done :D
Great shot! I agree about the reflection. It's really neat.

Wow! What a close-up and I have to second the thoughts on the reflection in his eyes. Great capture! How close to (or far from) Mr. Chips were you?
6 Feb 2008 10:47am
@Steven: Thank you Steven, I was right up to the fence of the enclosure where he was living, there was a little of the wire fence in the shot so I cropped it out. I pretty sure the reflection is my son as I was kneeling down at the time.
What a wonderful portrait! Menno (my son) liked it very much! Interesting reflection in the eye, too.

Great shot!!... and love the reflection in it's eye, too!! I've never seen a white chipmunk... I'd expect something like to be in the cold wintry tundra of the north not the verdant green of England!! LOL

Do we have chipmunks in the UK? Especially white ones? Or was it someone's pet? Looks deeply suspicious of your camera,
