The government in the UK (and I suspect other governments do too) recomend that you eat 5 portions of fresh fruit and veg a day.
This is a little tribute to my Panasonic who after today will be taking a well earned rest, I have been brought (as an early birthday/anniversary present) a Nikon D40X :D I am really very, very happy with the results, I've only managed to take a few indoor shots so far and wow!. The weather today has been rain showers so couldn't get out to try it out, hopefully tomorrow will be better. I've had soooo much fun with the panasonic that it's not getting retired just having a rest :)
Thank you to everyone who visited and left comments on Friday's post, I've been really busy this weekend so haven't been able to reply to you but I'd like to let you know that your comments are alway's appreciated. :)
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome :)

@Peter Miller: Hi Peter,Thank you. I love your CC photo's did you get the birds at Freda's Grave (Brocton Coppice) ? we found the place by accident but you have to get there early to park the car infront of where the birds are feeding though. I've seen the deer but not managed to get a decent shot of them yet! The coot was taken at Chasewater, we go to feed the birds in the winter, a great place to get a few shots, that is if you can fend off the birds that are looking for food long enough lol. Yes we are in Staffs, we live down the road from you in Gt. Wyrley. I'm really looking forward to going out and trying out my new cam, it's my first DSLR, I used to have a Pentax SLR many moons ago so hopefully It will help me when using this one :)

Nice composition. I like the kiwi shot the best because of the light, contrast in colors, and the shimmering effect from the water/juices.

@Richard_Irwin: I'm really looking forward to trying it out. It took me a long time to decide which one to go for but from the few shot's I've taken so far it looks like I'm going to love it.
Congratulations on the new camera. It's always fun to do new things with an upgrade but good to know your not forgetting your roots. Wonderful post today. So sharp and detailed.

Very informative, and yes, our government suggests the same thing. Of course our college students figure that pizza, potato chips and beer are the three most important food groups...

The government is so right! I hope that all those people who would like to, but simply cannot have them a day, will soon be able to get them and that we in Europe and USA will not let us mislead by supermarkets and manufacturers. Pious words, now reality...
26 Feb 2008 5:57pm

26 Feb 2008 7:36pm
