Apparently there are around 11 species of Forsythia, with only one being native to southeastern europe. A lovely spring flower.

Wonderful! We grew and enjoyed these in KY and GA. But they don't do well deep into coastal FL, and I do miss seeing them blooming this time of year.

That must mean spring is here! I ususally cut a few branches off, put them in a large vase and enjoy them indoors too.
