This is the end of my train series, thank you all so much for your wonderful comments, I appreciate every single one :)
This is for a very special little boy called Caleb, (Tyan's son) who loves trains, especially Thomas The Tank Engine. Hope you like it Caleb :)

Everything we associate with railway transportation is there: the engine (in this case a steam one), the rails, the platforms. Very well composed and very striking, consequently. I only have one but as a viewer. There is two much white on top of the image. If a bit cropped it may improve. But I repeat, as a viewer, because you are the photographer.

Amazing capture Mary. It seems so "scale" to my American eyes, our trains are so much larger and noisier. Yet, somehow it seems more in proportion to the engineer, to the tracks and environment it is in, etc. I like trains and wish our country would move back to days when the rails and not the highways, were kings of transportation. Thanks for this series.

A real feast for the eyes, MaryB ... so much brilliant color ... strong contrasts ... interesting shapes ... gentle curves and strong lines ... a real feast! And the plume is the cherry on top!
