We've had a few day's off for May day, so on Sunday we went to the British Falconry & Raptor Fair (and Country Fair). The weather was apalling, some really heavy showers and quite dark and overcast for the rest of the time but it was still a great day out. There was an amazing display of all kinds of birds of prey. There were also dogs of all shapes and sizes too. The next few posts will be from there.
This is one of those shot's you see and you just have to take, I would have liked a little more of the fellas head in the shot but he was standing by a pole, also the bird was being carried along by his handler and I had to be quick or else the moment would have been lost :)
BIG apologies for not getting around to commenting on Friday, the darn computer was running soooo slow, I lost patience with it and gave up till Monday evening. We have a new computer in it's box waiting to get installed, oh I can't wait :)
