This is the last post of my "Yellow" themed week. Thank you everyone for your kind encouraging comments and continued support :)
Apologies to everyone I didn't get to visit yesterday, internet explorer kept informing me that the web pages couldn't be displayed!

A magnificent yellow conclusion; wonderful series Mary. The sunshine is so rich on the buttercups. Against that bright blue sky they are like brilliant little suns.

Beautiful capture MAry, great contrasting colours, my one and only criticism is the little spot that is a lighter blue, looks like dust on the lens or sensor, Oh yes, see if you recognise the location of my post today

@Peter Miller: Thanks Peter, :) That little pale blue spot is a mystery, out of the 5 or so shot's, I took of the flower, this is the only one it appears on! One thought is, it could have been an insect. I should have gotten rid of it really but I was having so much trouble with the computer yesterday, I just posted it as it was :)

Beautiful colors and light, MaryB ... yellow and blue are among my favorite spring colors ... but, then again, I'm not sure there are any colors of spring of which I'm not fond ... the sun has shone brightly all weekend and I've finally been able to get the lawn mowed ... we're having the wettest spring on record (here in the center of the U.S. - but we do so very desperately need the rain).

Great to have that bright yellow so detailed in your macro! (With me, the details often vanish partly because of the yellow's brightness). It also frustrates me sometimes that flower colors you see in nature can seldom be recorded on a photograph the way you experience them. But you have succeeded here!

When I was at junoir school,the girls used to hold a buttercup under your chin and if it reflected yellow on your skin it was said that you liked butter.I don´t know about liking butter,I certainly like this photo.
