Michael Skorulski from Cigel, Hong KongThe details and color are startlingly good. Super work! 6 Jun 2008 5:15am Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaMary, I think it's you that should be giving tips. This is just beautiful. The clarity, the lighting and the composition and position of this peony are all just awesome. 6 Jun 2008 6:13am Observing from Chester, United KingdomSuper color and fine detail. Ours have yet to flower. 6 Jun 2008 9:32am Francesc B. from région parisienne, FranceI like this felted environment and this intimist light ... and the composition is very god! 6 Jun 2008 10:48am Rob from Velveetaville, United StatesLovely MB... you know I kind or like B&W and lean towards that in my images... There is so much wonderful light and gentle contrast here I wonder what this would look like as a monochrome image. Give it a try if you are so inclined. Maybe try different filter affects in PS by adding a Red, Blue or Green filter. Let me know what you think if you try it. You have really become a stronger photographer over the past year.
6 Jun 2008 11:39am @Rob: Thank you for the suggestion Rob, I'll give it a try :) Cheryl from Texas, United Statesbeautiful composition. the rain drops add so muich to it! 6 Jun 2008 11:59am Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesMasterful presentation! The "print" is perfect. I have a pet-peeve against the way most use boarders. However, your presentation is the exception. The boarder isn't blindingly wide and you haven't decorated it with a distracting black "inlay." Well done Mary! My hat is off to you! 6 Jun 2008 12:56pm Man With 101 Names from Hamburg, United StatesThis is beautiful , you can feel the softness of this flower just by looking at your shot :o) yep I'm 100% again or 99.9998 LOL, whatever I was before the accident . 6 Jun 2008 1:18pm Mandy Provan from Johannesburg, South AfricaAnother great shot Mary - I love teh composition of this one the way the light seems to be falling on the leaves to the top left of the shot! great water drops too!! :) 6 Jun 2008 1:21pm Judy from Brooksville-Florida,, United StatesThis is wonderful - a FIVE STAR photo for sure, Mary. 6 Jun 2008 1:32pm Fogguy from San Francisco, United StatesLuscious feeling and mood to this capture.
