Ian did try to rescue my coffee from this cheeky bird.
Any tips or constructive criticism are welcome :)

Mary this has to be one of the cutest pictures that I have seen. What a cheeky little bird and I love the expression on Ian's face.

The cheeky little devil. Great capture Mary. Love the expression on Ian's face but he doesn't like he's trying very hard to save your drink lol.

@Mike: Cheers Mike. Well, the bird actually went for my Lemon drizzle cake first, I was having none of that, It was the last slice! lol, so for his cheek, I told Ian to let him have my coffee instead. He went on to drink the milk out of a milk pot and put the spoon back on the tray. He was a right character :)
What a sense of opportunity. The decisive moment.

How funny - for us watching. You may not have wanted him drinking your coffee, though. What a wonderful composition this is - Ian's blue eyes and the bird's blue tail feathers!

@Judy: Thanks Judy, I was really enjoying the coffee when this little bird flew in to join us. He made a bee line for my Lemon drizzle cake, I was having none of that, it was the last slice they had lol, so as a consolation, I asked Ian to leave him be and let him have the coffee instead :)
Great fun shot!

What a laugh this one gave me. Fabulous shot Mary. It is a Quaker or Monk Parrot, I would recognize one anywhere. I have had one for a pet over 20 years, they are full of mischief.
