Roof Garden, Molde Norway.
Posted by MaryB (Staffordshire, United Kingdom) on 29 August 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio.
How would you like to have this garden on your roof, they used to put a goat up there to keep the grass down. We even saw houses with tree's on the roof, wish I taken a couple of shots.
This was taken at The Romsdal Museum, one of Norway's largest folk museums, was established in 1912. Old buildings originating from all over the region have been moved here to form a typical cluster of farm buildings including "open hearth" houses, sheds, outhouses, smokehouses and a small chapel. The "town street" with Mali's Café shows typical Molde town houses from the pre-World War I period.
Have a great weekend everyone, and thank you for all your comments, they are appreciated 100%. I will be back on Monday. :)
