Silence.

Have you ever really heard silence?
You may think you have but if you listen closely there maybe a clock ticking, birds singing or the odd car passing by, here there is none of these total pure silence, if you listen very closely I'm sure you will hear it too!

As we approached Ny-Alesund, (just 650 nautical miles from the North Pole) we were met with this amazing scene. I've not processed this (as you can probably see from the little blemish on the left, caused by something that was on the lens at the time) this is what we saw through a fine mist as we approached our port of call.
