After dark.

On Sunday afternoon, we decided to go for a drive up to Cannock Chase Forest. It was a beautiful drive, with the snow covered trees and open land. We pulled into our favourite spot, where you can watch the birds feeding all day if you want to.
As we pulled up we were amazed to see around 7 or 8 Doe's and then this most beautiful young stag, of course they were a little spooked but soon came back to continue feeding. I was really hoping that the Stag would raise his head but no luck, then the light began to fade, till the only light there, was the headlights of ours and other cars that had parked up to watch and photograph, these wonderful animals. The stag walked off and I thought that the oppertunity had been lost, I got out of the car and stood looking around, there to my right standing in the trees was the man himself, having a good look around. I was so happy to get a few shots of this magnificent wild Stag.

More snow is forcast here for Thursday and Friday!
